The Future of Your Air Compressor
There are so many questions about the future that it is literally impossible to predict what will happen tomorrow, let alone a year or more from now. What if we told you we have a crystal ball, and that we can predict how well your air compressor system will perform long into the future based only on a few variables?
Here’s how we know with such certainty that your system will last a good long time.
You’re a conscientious air compressor owner so of course, you’re going to pay attention to the manufacturer’s specifications when it comes to maintenance and day-to-day operations. The manufacturers maintenance schedule will include checks and procedures that, if followed, will absolutely guarantee a good, long life for your system.
In the event you do need replacement parts, you always purchase parts from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). OEM parts have been tested every which way from Sunday by the manufacturer to ensure durability, efficiency and safety. Knock-off parts- or parts not built by and for the OEM- will likely yield poor efficiency and could fail at the worst time. Your oil filters are a great example of this. OEM filters are designed for an exact application- yours. They are fit for a specific purpose, and a specific compressor unit. With a non-OEM filter you likely won’t know what the filter’s pressure-loss is and that could cost you.
If and when you DO need a technician to take a look at your compressor, you bring in only a specially-trained technician who knows his/her way around your specific compressor. They have the training and the skills to repair and maintain your compressor that an inexperienced or untrained technician will not.
If you possess these three qualities, we’re convinced that your compressor will lead a good, long life.
