What You Need to Know About Compressed Air Installations

Purchasing a compressed air system for your facility can be a complicated venture, one that we can absolutely help you with step-by-step.

But once you’ve purchased the perfect system for your facility, you must consider installation and everything that involves.  That’s why we’re here.

Your Air Components experience doesn’t end with the purchase, we can oversee every aspect of the installation as well, and won’t leave you alone until we are sure the system is installed properly and performing the way you need it to.

Typically, in the sales process, we will go over every aspect of the installation procedure to make sure you understand the timelines and the variables involved.  Having the same company that determined your facility’s specifications oversee the installation is critical to the accuracy and quality of your compressor system’s performance in the long run.

ACS has a long history of successful installations and, frankly, there’s not much we haven’t seen.

There are a number of factors and variables that could, and will, affect your installation. Before we determine a plan and a timeline, we work with you to ensure you have the appropriate amount of power to supply your compressor or compressors in the event you are installing multiple units.

We’ll work with you to determine the type, size and amount of pipe you will need. We’ll design a layout for your system that caters to the footprint of your facility to ensure access to parts that may need to be serviced during the lifespan of your system.

If, during the installation, we need access to your facility during downtime, we’ll determine if work needs to be performed after hours or over weekends.

You can typically expect installation to occur once all the necessary equipment is on location, but it is still important to work some flexibility into the plan. We’ll work with you to determine a timeline all parties can agree to. The majority of our installations take place within four to seven working days of the purchase agreement, although some larger systems can take longer to complete.

If you have any questions or need to get the ball rolling on the purchase and installation of a new air compressor system for your facility, do not hesitate to contact us.  We can help you every step of the way.
